10/1378DN NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of 120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing a new School Board rule which will amend the current rule 06-33, the title of which is: Administrative Leave, Suspension and Dismissal of Employees. The proposed amendments under the new rule deal with the subject areas of the return of school district property by a former employee and the collection of personal items or property belonging to employees whose employment has ended, and the purpose and effect of the proposed amendments to the rule is to set forth notification to those employees of the District's requirements for the return of district property and the procedures for handling former employee's personal items abandoned on school district property. The specific legal authority for the proposed rule is 1001.41, Florida Statutes.
